Religion: Mel isn't just Catholic, he's hardcore Catholic. He belongs to a small sect of Catholicism called Traditionalist Catholicism.
Political views: Well, Catholic. Mel is extremely socially conservative—against killing unborn children and believes in the value of life in all stages and not just in the inconvenient ones.
