Jimmy Carr believes religious faith is procrastination

Jimmy Carr said in an interview (31:35) ‘I think my loss of religious faith was a very important part of my life, I think it was a huge thing of going religious faith for me was the ultimate procrastination.’

Replying to the host saying when he lost his faith in Christianity Jimmy Carr said (31:58) ‘I was a bit late to the party I was 24, 25, something like that.’

When Jimmy Carr was talking about becoming a atheist he said (33:30) ‘It’s very exciting, it really feels like a, I would encourage people to think about it.’

When asked about how he lost his belief in Christianity Jimmy Carr said (33:58) ‘I went to Jerusalem and I had a look around and you go oh this is some bullshit, this is Disney.’

Jimmy Carr said (49:15) ‘As someone who lost their faith, I think fame and fortune are the secular heaven, we get rich and famous and everything’s ok.’
