Religion: Enya was raised a Catholic, still attends church, but considers herself "spiritual not religious."
Political views: Enya seldom expresses political views, but in a 1988 Belgian interview, regarding Ireland, she was quoted as saying: "Generations-old potentates and politicians have reduced the whole nation to beggary".
